The Warehouse Technician plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse at Aqua Pro Water Systems. Our company sells, builds, installs, and maintains water filtration equipment such as water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, chemical filtration systems, well water filtration systems, and more. This position involves handling water filtration equipment, operating various types of equipment and vehicles, and ensuring that all products are stored and operating properly. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Load and unload materials using equipment such as a forklift.
- Build/Assemble water filtration equipment, and test equipment for functionality.
- Organize equipment daily to be ready for loading into vehicles for the day.
- Assist field team in loading up trucks and vans each morning in preparation for their jobs for the day.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Occasionally assist technicians in the field or deliver salt bags (necessary for most water filtration equipment) to customers when needed.
- Proficient in materials handling techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Experience operating forklifts/Certification to operate forklift.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage inventory effectively.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
