Job Description:
The Accounting and Tax Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the company's financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with local and national tax regulations. This role involves preparing and reviewing financial reports, handling tax filings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and government regulations.
· Financial Reporting and Accounting:

• Maintain and manage the company’s financial records and accounting systems.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

o Assist with preparation of reports, financial statements, filings with LGU, SEC and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) requirements.
o Ensure accuracy and integrity of data for internal and external reporting purposes.
o Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and examinations.
· Tax Compliance:

• Prepare and file all necessary tax returns, including VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, and other local taxes.
• Ensure timely payment of tax liabilities and compliance with tax deadlines.
• Liaise with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and other regulatory bodies for tax assessments, audits, and inquiries.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of Philippine tax laws and BIR regulations.
• Strong competence in computation and data recording
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From Php16,000.00 per month
