What you'll do

As an Accounting Clerk Contractor, you will play a key role in supporting the Accounting department with accounting Projects. Your primary focus will be on Accounts Payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and all other relevant company statements. You will also assist with Accounts Receivable tasks such as payment processing and reconciling customer accounts. Additionally, you will provide support on departmental projects, collaborating with the team to meet accounting deadlines and improve workflow efficiency.

Duties
- Process accounts and incoming payments accurately
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
- General Data Entry
- Process general accounts payable and receivable, and incoming payments accurately
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable and accounts receivable data

Qualifications

High school diploma required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in financial software and accounting principles is a plus
Experience with account reconciliation and analysis is a plus
Experience with Financial Accounting software such as Quick Books or other preferred
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Must be comfortable taking and making calls throughout the shift
Available to work full time in Pacific Time hours

Job Type: Contract

Compensation: $5 - $10 per hour

The pay range for this role is:
5 - 10 USD per hour(Remote - Philippines)
