Job Description:
· Updates the company’s Books of Accounts consistent with the Philippine Financial Reporting Standards / Philippine Auditing Standards;
· Generates the Financial Statement s and other financial-related reports consistent with the agreed set timelines, format and criteria;
· Maintains the company’s Fixed Assets Lapsing Schedule and records disposals thereof, if any;
· Prepares applicable adjusting journal entries;
· Prepares the detailed schedule of Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts;
· Prepares the Variance Analysis;
· Prepares the monthly financial presentations to management;
· Monitors accounting compliance for BIR-related registrations and issuances;
· Acts as the point person for year-end external audit examinations;
· Coordinates all tasks and activities geared at addressing relevant audit issues;
· Finalizes the auditor’s examination before the set deadline;
· Provides reasonable assistance in crafting or adopting accounting / finance policies and procedures, as so required and predicated to evolving business operations;
· Acts as one of the team leads for the registration / accreditation on the use of a computerized accounting system with the BIR and provide routinely coordination with the service provider / system developer;
· Acts as one of the leads in the preparation of the yearly Budget.
· Performs other duties and tasks as may assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
· Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Accounting Technology
· Can start immediately is a plus
· MS Excel and Word savvy
· Must have knowledge in financial closing and reporting, bank reconciliation and data entry
· Must have knowledge in using accounting systems
· Must have knowledge in using Quick Books or Xero
· Must have knowledge in tax filing and compliance
· Willing to report on site
· Willing to travel
