Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, managing customer payments, and maintaining financial records.
Your Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable (AP):
• Process and verify incoming invoices and expense reports.
• Ensure accurate coding and approval of invoices before payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
• Maintain records of accounts payable transactions and supporting documentation.
• Accounts Receivable (AR):
• Generate and send invoices to customers.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely payment.
• Record and apply customer payments to appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare regular AR aging reports and provide insights on outstanding balances.
• Financial Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and summaries.
• Provide accurate and timely data for financial analysis and decision-making.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for improving AP/AR processes and efficiency.
• Implement best practices to enhance accuracy and reduce processing times.
• Customer and Vendor Relations:
• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing issues and payment inquiries.
• Maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders.

What our Client is Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable and/or receivable roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
