JOB SUMMARY:
The Audit Associate (Finance System Analyst) is responsible for supporting the finance team in managing financial records, processing transactions, and preparing financial reports. This role involves performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the finance department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Internal Audit
-Conduct audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, including financial, operational, compliance, and systems audit.
-Preparing and maintaining audit budgets
-Building internal auditing systems and ensuring their correct application
-Knowledgeable in answering audit queries in good time
2. Financial Reporting and Analysis
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
3. Inventory Management
Participates in physical inventory counts.
4. Database Management
Maintains complete and accurate database.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in preparation of Annual and Monthly Budget Utilization. Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying any significant variances.
6. Support and Administration:
Assist with special finance projects and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
· Minimum of 2 - 4 years experience in audit or financial analysis
· Proficiency in financial analysis software or ERP systems
· Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create complex financial models and analysis
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Knowledgeable in auditing procedures
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Project planning and time management skills
· Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
