JOB DESCRIPTION:
● Mixes drinks, cocktails and bar beverages, can make a good coffee, serve wine as ordered and in compliance with company standards. He/ She must also be knowledgeable in-service procedures as well as the products.
● Fills orders placed by bar waiters/waitresses in a prompt and efficient manner.
● Maintains clean and orderly lounges/bars.
● Responsible for beverage costs, stock in the assigned area and must also meet required Quota of Sub dept. assigned.
● Conducts end of operation inventories, checking par levels with the F&B Supervisor and/or Inventory Staff. Conducts spot checks throughout all bars at any given time.
● Knows the daily specials and special promotions.
● Knows the menu for the assigned bar, café and restaurant and explain and suggest drinks to guests.
● Provides personalized service, remembering guest names and preferences.
● Adhere to the drinking age policy for Philippine Law.
● Transports stock to various departments (café, resto, bar, minibar and kitchen) when necessary.
● Assists in the stores during loading.
● Attends department staff meetings and training sessions, as required.
● Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations.
● Manages transactions with customers using cash registers
● Collects payments whether in cash or credit
● Issues receipts, refunds, change, or gift certificates
● Resolves customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
● Greets customers when entering or leaving the café or restaurant
● Maintains clean and tidy checkout areas
● Tracks transactions on balance sheets and reports any discrepancies
● Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
● Maintains adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change
● Reconciles cash drawers and sales receipts
