Job Summary
- A Cashier’s duties and responsibilities will vary based on the store but typically include greeting customers and checking out shoppers when they are ready to purchase items.
- Manage transactions with customers using cashier registers, credit cards and other monde of payment. Ensure that all payment transactions are accurate and processed.
- Encode and register incoming/in-bound inventories during delivery. Must ensure that all product codes are accurate.
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide them relevant information.
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
- Ensure that there will be no sales discrepancy and sales must be reported daily
- Cashier is attentive to detail, customer-focused and knowledgeable about the products available in the store.
- They also have to maintain composure in the face of angry, frustrated or flustered customers.
- Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Bachelor/College Degree, any field
- Required skill(s): cash flow operations, cashiering, POS Machine.
- At least 6months of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
