JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring total guests satisfaction by exceeding guest’s expectations and attain outlet-planned revenue by meeting targeted sales revenues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The main responsibility of the cashier is to take care the restaurant’s sales and funds (cash or charge). Accomplishes the Daily Cashiers Report accurately and always ready for spot audits anytime
- Maintains cleanliness and proper use of the Point of Sales (POS) machine to prolong good working condition and reports any malfunctions immediately to the Manager on Duty
- Organizes the pertinent documents, report attachments and the work station consistently
- Welcoming the guests and greeting them courteously with a smile
- Takes the orders of the guests ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the orders by repeating the orders verbally and using the Order Slips (OS) properly, checking it thoroughly before settling the transaction.
- Plays a major role in increasing the restaurant’s revenues by doing suggestive selling.
- Ensuring proper distribution of Orders Slips inside the Kitchen. Duplicate copy goes to the cooks for order preparation. Efficient OS distribution will mean prompt delivery of orders.
- Accepts payment from guests properly by acknowledging the amount given and consistently give receipts and accurate change to guests
- Thanking the guest/s as they leave the counter
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS/REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION / TRAINING
At least 2nd year College Level
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 5 months of working in the food service industry
SKILLS
Good communication skills is a must
