Job Descriptions:
Pay: Php16,500.00 - Php17,000.00 per month
The Cashier plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of the store. Responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, the Cashier provides exceptional customer service while handling payments, inquiries, and maintaining a tidy checkout area. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Job Descriptions:
- Work with customers with the most cheerful and pleasant disposition;
- Give answers to customers’ inquiries or concerns related to the product they are charged to sell and demonstrate good knowledge of the product;
- Communicate and assist customers in any way possible and as the customers may require;
- Verify order accuracy and ensure all special requests are communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Maintain an organized cash register and ensure sufficient change is available.
- Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Follow cash handling procedures and report any discrepancies.
- Monitor and restock supplies such as receipt paper, napkins, and utensils.
- Keep the cashier area clean and well-organized.
- Deal with customer’s complaints professionally and with restraint;
- Close as many deals and transactions as possible;
- Take the order of the customer/s for dining accurately;
- Take the orders from Grab food & Grab mart accurately before punching on the POS;
- Always check the phone from online and don't forget to open the special dish of the day;
- Advise the customer if their order is not available, and suggest replacements if necessary;
- Advise the customer and/or the driver for the cancellation of the order on the online apps;
- Cancel / edit orders from the online apps;
- Post dishes for today on the social media for marketing;
- Chat with our regular customers, and offer them our special menu for today, promos and from minimart items;
- Make sure the quality and quantity of the food is ok before serving and/or giving it to the driver, if for delivery, and make sure that the sauce and the utensils are complete;
- Process or help payments made by the customer – whether by in cash, GCash, or online payment;
- Pack the item/s for the customers properly before giving it to the driver;
- Report sales accurately;
- Help and assist customers to find items in the store;
- Provide customers with information about the items/menu dishes;
- Learn how to handle complaint, or elevate complaints to management if necessary;
- Keep track of inventory and request if necessary;
- Help the kitchen personnel if necessary;
- Mopping and sweeping floors, as required;
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related as needed;
- Must wear Proper Clothing/Safety Attire while on duty;
- Apply safety standards; and
- Follow the Rules and Regulations of So Mot Vietnamese Cuisine.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic math for calculating transactions and providing correct change.
- Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, or other related technology.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Patience, reliability, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Pay: Php16,500.00 - Php17,000.00 per month
