JOB SUMMARY
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer payments and providing excellent customer service at both the deli shop and wine shop. You will work as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of both departments.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Knowledge of POS systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service at both the deli shop and wine shop.
• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently at both departments.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions at both departments.
• Maintain accurate cash records for both departments.
• Assist with inventory management at both departments.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Deli shop and wine shop environments.
• May involve standing for extended periods.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

MENTAL DEMANDS

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
