Summary:
The Cashier/Receptionist will be the first point of contact for customers at the diner, ensuring a welcoming and organized atmosphere while handling transactions efficiently. This role involves providing information about the diner’s services, managing reservations, and processing payments.
Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the diner.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements.
• Provide accurate information about the menu, specials, and promotions.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions.
• Process customer orders and provide accurate pricing information.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
• Assist in coordinating with the waitstaff and kitchen team for smooth service.
• Help restock retail items near the cashier station as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, receptionist, or cashier roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numerical and math skills with excellent attention to detail.
