• Deliver Medical Oxygen Safely:
• Load and unload oxygen cylinders (compressed and liquid) using safe handling techniques.
• Deliver cylinders to designated locations, which may include hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and private residences.
• Adhere to Safety and Compliance Standards:
• Follow all safety protocols related to handling and transporting medical oxygen, including wearing necessary PPE.
• Ensure compliance with regulations governing the transportation and handling of hazardous materials.
• Inspect cylinders and equipment for damage, leaks, or other hazards and report as necessary.
• Customer Service:
• Interact professionally and empathetically with patients, healthcare staff, and facility administrators.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by communicating delivery schedules and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Maintain Records and Documentation:
• Record delivery information accurately, including quantity, type, and condition of the cylinders.
• Complete daily logs and paperwork required by the company and regulatory bodies.
• Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance:
• Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle, including brakes, tires, and other essential systems.
• Report any mechanical issues promptly and ensure the vehicle remains in clean, functional condition.
• Route Management and Time Efficiency:
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing delays.
• Adapt to changes in the schedule as necessary and communicate with dispatch and customers regarding updates.

Requirements:

• Licenses and Certifications:
• Valid driver’s license Restrictions: 1,2,3 or A,B,C

• Experience:
• Previous experience in delivery driving; experience with medical supplies or hazardous materials preferred.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of handling and transporting compressed gases safely.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Basic mechanical skills for vehicle inspection and maintenance.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy cylinders (typically up to 50-70 lbs) regularly.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Capability to sit for long periods while driving and manage multiple stops per day.
