DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans delivery vehicle and items for delivery
• Inspects gas, oil, water, lights, battery, and tires of delivery vehicle;
• Informs Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager for any known defects of the delivery vehicle, discrepancy; loads and unloads items to deliver in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
• Operates delivery vehicle and comply with safety procedures; logs date, time, odometer reading, destination
• Follows routes and time schedules according to priority.
• Safely operate a vehicle to transport goods or passengers to designated locations.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage and delivery logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch.
• Assist with loading and unloading items as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
