We are in need of a Financial Controller for one of our clients in the shipping industry!
Qualifications:

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant
• 5 to 10 years of solid experience in Accounting and Taxation
• Experience on SAP and other ERP Accounting Systems
• Well versed in Taxation requirements and compliances of multi-national companies
• Controllership experience is a must

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitors and reviews completeness of daily revenue uploads.
• Reviews and approves Accounts Payable and Check Vouchers.
• Reviews and posts journal entries and intercompany transactions.
• Leads team on closing activities, submits and reviews Balance Sheet movements, valuation of accounts to closing rates, intercompany loan charges, and others.
• Reviews financial statements for ICTSI and assigned subsidiaries.
• Reviews monthly Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) remittances and prepares and submits remittance calculations on a quarterly and annual basis (Main Business and transshipment fees).
• Prepares, submits, and monitors department and assigned entities' budgets.
• Prepares and submits CFO and GM reports and analytics of assigned entities.
• Reviews the remittances to the Bureau of Internal Revenue for the monthly, quarterly, and annual withholding and taxes due thereon are tallied with general ledger.
• Coordinates with government representatives and provides reconciliation for tax audits and inquiries.
• Coordinates with external auditors and partners for financial audits, and other reportorial requirements.
• Responsible for coaching, developing motivating, and assisting in training, if applicable, of personnel.
• Reviews performance of accounting team members and coordinates with the Human Resource Department for manpower changes and movements.
• Prepares / Reviews / Updates accounting policies and procedures as applicable.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From Php140,000.00 per month
