What You'll Be Doing:

• Write high-quality Lua code that is clean, performant, extensible, and portable.
• Learn from existing bodies of work (from us, our platform provider, and open source) to ensure your code integrates seamlessly into our codebase while following industry-standard approaches.
• Bring creativity into your work: brainstorm, design, and pitch new gameplay ideas.
• Collaborate with teammates, participate in code reviews, document features, fix bugs, and help clean up legacy code.
• Test your updates throughout development and deploy them to millions of players.
• Implement gameplay mechanics that create intuitive, responsive, and delightful user experiences (e.g., a jump that feels satisfying).
• Speak English or train to speak English if not yet proficient.

• Bonus points if you’ve graduated from top universities in the Philippines (DLSU, FEU, etc.)
• Proficiency in Lua or any other programming language.
• Experience with any game engine.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Passion for playing and creating games.
• Comfort with math (especially vector math), physics, and computer science theory.
• A strong understanding of the human side of software engineering: empathy, compassion, and patience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month
