Job Overview:
We are seeking a Roblox Game Design Instructor (freelancer/independent contractor) to collaborate with us. In this position, you will teach and guide students, ages 10 and up, through the process of designing games using Roblox Studio. You will be responsible for creating a fun, engaging, and informative learning environment, helping students understand game design concepts, mechanics, and tools within Roblox.
Responsibilities:

• Teach students how to design and build games using Roblox Studio.
• Guide students through hands-on projects using Roblox Studio tools, offering support with scripting, debugging, and game mechanics.
• Provide support and mentorship to students throughout the design process.
• Evaluate student projects and offer constructive feedback on their game design and development skills.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and updates in Roblox game development.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance the learning experience and adapt to student needs.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Roblox Studio, scripting, and game development within the Roblox platform.
• College students are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with game design principles such as gameplay mechanics, user experience, and storytelling.
• Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts in a clear, understandable manner, particularly for beginners.
• Passion for gaming and teaching, with the desire to inspire the next generation of game designers.
