Optum Cyber Defense’s Attack Path Modeling (APM) enables the Defender's ability to enumerate pathways to key assets by assessing risk, proactively identifying weaknesses and putting counter measures in place to detect, delay and defeat bad actors.

As the Attack Path Modeling Analyst, you will be responsible for mapping potential attack vectors, analyze and measure effectiveness of security tool response, and provide recommendations for improvement.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the Philippines as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain Operation of APM platform
Think like an attacker, probe, and identify potential attack vectors
Analyze and research potential attack paths and security gaps for remediation opportunities
Deliver technical analysis based on enumeration results
Identify and help drive areas for automation and improvement
Drive recommendation efforts based on simulation findings and analysis
Use threat intelligence data to map out and conduct simulations
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

3+ years of Information Security experience
3+ years of experience in Maintaining Server Operating Systems
3+ years of experience querying for log data (e.g. SIEM platforms and databases)
Familiarity with network components and concepts
Familiarity with incident response case management
Familiarity with common network and endpoint security tools
Security+, GSEC, or other relevant security certification(s)
Proven excellent verbal as well as written communication skills
