Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of plastic injection molded parts using magnifying tools and microscopes to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Assess part dimensions, surface finish, and overall appearance, documenting findings accurately.
• Perform deburring on molded parts to remove any sharp edges or imperfections, ensuring a smooth finish.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to develop and implement corrective actions for identified quality issues.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of inspection results, including photographs when necessary.
• Assist in the development of inspection protocols and procedures for continuous quality improvement.
• Participate in training sessions for team members on inspection techniques and deburring processes.
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in manufacturing or quality control is a plus.
• Previous experience in plastic injection molding inspection and deburring processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with using microscopes and other magnifying tools for detailed inspections.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks, including fine motor skills for deburring.
• Comfortable working with small parts and precise instruments.
