Job Qualifications:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably Bachelor in Science in Accountancy or Management Accounting
• With at least 2-3 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and/or in Financial Statements preparation.
• Preferably from Insurance Companies or Financial Institutions.
• Knowledgeable in Philippines Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
• Proficient in Excel, and any accounting software

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure auto interface entries are complete and accurately posted in SAP.

- Reconcile auto interface entries posted in SAP daily.
- Raise concerns to officer, in case of any variances noted.
- Assist Officer in coordinating with other teams, in case of any discrepancies noted.
- Propose entries, as needed.

• Prepare a recording of journal entries in line with financial statement close process and deadlines

- Prepare entries to record Insurance Accounting transactions (premium adjustments, accrual of benefit expenses, etc.)
- Assist Officer in coordinating with other teams, in case of discrepancies noted.

• Prepare monthly reconciliation of Subsidiary ledger and General Ledger balances for accounts assigned to the Insurance Accounting.
• Preparation of payout for Facultative Re-insurance Payments (for GI)

- Create disbursement voucher for pay-out to facultative premium.

• Prepare various monthly and/or quarterly reports, as needed by the Management.

- Accounts validation reports
- Insurance Commission reports
- Audit reports
- Assist in preparation of Financial Statement Disclosures
- Other reports, as needed
- Assist/collaborate with other Teams to further understand variances.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary
• Overtime pay

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
• Financial Reporting: 2 years (Preferred)
