• Ensure accurate daily booking of investment transactions in the SHIP Investment Accounting System, with monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries for cash transactions, investments, fees, and other relevant entries, securing support from Investment Operations and Teams as needed. Perform monthly reconciliations of Subsidiary and General Ledger balances, and produce various financial reports for management.
• Collaborate with teams on variances, new investment portfolios, and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in major in Accountancy, preferably CPA.
• With at least 2-3 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Investment Accounting, and/or in Financial Statements preparation.
• Preferably from Insurance Companies or Financial Institutions.
• Knowledgeable in Philippines Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
• Able to work with cross-functional teams
• Keen to details and highly committed
• Proficient in Excel, and any accounting software.
