Job Summary:
The IT Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s IT infrastructure and assets. The role includes providing comprehensive IT support to ensure smooth operation of the company’s systems, managing hardware and software installations, ensuring cybersecurity protocols are followed, and maintaining regular updates and reports on IT-related matters. The IT Officer will also be responsible for coordinating with external service providers for specialized IT needs and ensuring that all IT systems comply with industry standards and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Asset Inventory Monitoring and Management:
- Maintain and update an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software.
- Monitor the usage and performance of IT assets to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide desktop support for all hardware and software issues within the company.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT issues to minimize downtime.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues and requests.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance and support via phone, email, and remote tools.
- Maintain a log of all support requests and resolutions.
- Manage and implement software updates and patches to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts to protect company data and IT infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and maintain printers and other peripheral devices.
- Provide troubleshooting and support for printer-related issues.
- Provide regular reports on the status of the IT systems, including performance metrics, security updates, and asset management.
- Report any IT-related incidents and their resolutions to the management.
- Liaise with external IT service providers for advanced support and specialized services.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and manage relationships with IT vendors.
- Respond to emergency IT issues, such as network outages or critical hardware failures, to ensure business continuity.
- Provide on-site support as needed, including during off-hours in critical situations.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect the company’s IT infrastructure from threats.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Ensure that all IT activities comply with legal standards and company policies.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all proprietary and sensitive information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in IT support, network administration, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of IT asset management, desktop support, and help-desk operations.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux), and IT security protocols.
- Experience with remote support tools, VPNs, and network management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in ITIL, Comp TIA, or similar is a plus.
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Flextime
