Do you want to help us build the DNA of Tech.? Vishay Taguig is currently seeking applicants for a Section Manager Maintenance position, that will be responsible for inventory of equipment, tracking and scheduling of regular maintenance of all equipment and ensuring that all equipment are in good working condition and follows safety regulations. Also responsible to lead and oversee Engineering Department in all production lines with the objective of meeting/exceeding the target yield, product quality, process stability in conformance to productivity and delivery requirements and to collaborate with R&D in helping introduce new products and ramp up according to target standards. This position provides strong presence in the leadership team with the opportunity to create real impact within the organization and build a promising career.

Vishay Philippines, Inc. is located in FTI, Taguig Philippines. There are around 811 employees currently working in Vishay Optoelectronics Taguig. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans. The plant manufactures Optoelectronics. The Vishay Philippines‘ Optoelectronic product line includes a diverse range of advanced technologies in more than 22 package types, from the water sawing up to testing, package development, and product reliability testing and failure analyses.

What you will be doing:
- Drive machines and equiment improvement activities and continuously decrease downtime.
- Ensure product quality through stable and capable machine performance.
- Eliminate waste in non-value added activities to run the system.
- Ensure no machine issues resulting to compliance misses or customer returns.
- Develop people and expand value through a mature organization.
- Supports the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct.
- Assists and supports the company’s health and safety programs.
What you will bring along:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- At least 8 years’ experience in line maintenance management including spare parts and equipment.
- With Technical background related to semi-conductor industry
- Good communication skills and interpersonal relations
- Preferably six sigma certified
