Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely procurement of raw materials, consumables or services with the right quality and at a competitive cost
• Receive and process purchase requisitions from all the requesting departments which should include all the required specifications of materials or services to be purchased
• Sourcing supplier for comparison and negotiation.
• Recommend qualified supplier in compliance with the requirements needed to the Purchasing Manager
• Negotiate cost, terms of payment and delivery schedule of the items being sourced out
• Prepare purchase order based on the approved supplier
• Coordinate with the IMPEX section in case of farming in and out of materials and/or equipments, and attend with the concerns related to description, specification, and quantity of items delivered to Warehouse section
• Conduct daily monitoring and follow up of items ordered and update of items received versus purchase order issued
• Prepare monthly reports related to procurement activities

Job Requirements

• A graduate of 4 years business course or Industrial Engineering course
• Purchasing/ Procurement related experience in a manufacturing company for at least 2 years
• Impex related work is an advantage but not required
• Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast faced environment
• Knowledgeable of purchasing procedures with strong negotiation skills
• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge in Oracle system is an advantage but not required

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
