Med Specialized, Inc. is looking for a Safety Officer!

General Description: The safety officer evaluates and improves safety measures. The safety officer advises on all matters related to workplace health and safety, investigating accidents, writing incident reports, and making recommendations. The safety officer also conducts inspections to ensure equipment and site safety.

Work Schedule and Arrangement: 10:00AM - 7:00PM, Rotational shift; Office-based

Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu

Responsibilities:

• Enforce company policies, procedures and safety and health regulations and standards
• Meeting company health and safety goals
• Creating safety plans that include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure and business processes
• Creating analytical reports of safety data
• Presenting safety principles to staff in meetings

Requirements:

• Must be a college graduate
• Preferably a graduate of any medical course
• Preferably in a safety officer 3 (SO3) position
• Must have a certificate in safety officer training
• At least 2 years of experience as a safety officer
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in creating safety guidelines and generating reports
• Can work with minimal supervision
• Must be willing to work on holidays and weekends

Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):

• Monthly salary of 25,000
• New hire bonus of 5,000
