SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations. The position must adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving. The driver conducts vehicle inspections, maintains accurate logs, handles paperwork, monitors mechanical issues, and represents the company professionally by providing excellent customer service during deliveries. In addition, these will involves planning efficient routes, communicating with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Safely operate a vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving and operating equipment.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, securing items to prevent damage during transit.
• Plan and execute efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any changes in schedules or routes.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, documenting any issues and ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery records according to regulatory and company standards.
• Represent the company in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues or complaints during deliveries.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Work Experience:

• Atleast Highschool or College level
• 4 to 5 years work experience as a Truck Driver.
• Experience with different types of trucks and trailers is a plus.
• With industry exposure in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing and/or FMCG industry is highly preferred.

Preferred Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License.
• A clean driving record with no major violations or accidents is essential.
• Strong understanding of vehicle inspection requirements, and load securement standards.
• A reliable and punctual work ethic with a commitment to meeting delivery schedules and deadlines consistently.

Work Arrangement:

• Amenable to report on-site daily.
• Willing to be assigned in Paranaque City.
• Willing to work on shifting, weekends and/or holidays.
