Talent Bank is an original internship program of the Digital Technology Centre in Poland, which aim is to enable students and graduates to gain professional experience in IT / banking industry. The project can be attended by people who are students or graduates (up to 12 months after graduation). We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.

Within the cluster Digital Channels the development teams provides new digital products and solutions direct for the customer of the Bank. As a Database Developer with Java you will develop new frontends, modules or interfaces for these products in close co-operation with business analysts and application operation experts of your team.

The products will be developed for all customer groups of Commerzbank, i.e. small, medium and large corporates, multi-nationals and institutions. The cluster has the end-to-end responsibility for these products and processes

Join our team as a Database Developer with Java Intern!
Within the cluster Digital Channels the development teams provides new digital products and solutions direct for the customer of the Bank. As a Database Developer with Java you will develop new frontends, modules or interfaces for these products in close co-operation with business analysts and application operation experts of your team.
What you will be doing?
- You are developing new web-based applications and frontends for digital products and services of the Bank. These new web-based applications are a part of the portal plattform of the bank for business customers.
- You will design and develop interfaces to connect the frontends to backends. This comprises the understanding of complex business requirements and business data objects of the digital finance functionalities and processes. Further validation of input data based on the business requirements needs to be implemented.
- You will design and develop Oracle database, views, tables, stored procedures.
- You will support incident resolution and bug fixing and support the test and development team.
- You will be working in an agile team setup, meaning the team includes business domain colleagues, business analysts, architects, developers and application operation experts as well as testers.
- Participate in scrum events (Daily, Planning, Review, Retro) using Vid Co/Telco or – exceptionally – in person
