The Commercial organization alone is powered by 163 talented individuals, contributing to a total workforce of 280 across all functions and enablers. This role is based in Poland and reports directly to the Senior HR Director for Africa & CEE, offering a unique opportunity to be at the heart of one of the most dynamic and diverse markets in the region.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
  • Design, implement and execute human resources strategies for Poland.
  • Support Polish Leadership Team with implementation of new Go-To-Market models namely SAM and Remote Sales.
  • Promote and integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies across organization.
  • Female Manager and Above: The expectation from successful candidate will be to bring minimum 2 points improvement Yo Y on Manager and Above KPIs for Commercial and Total Organization
  • Early Career Talents: hire at least 30 interns in FY25 with minimum 30% to be converted to Medtronic employees’ contracts.
  • Branding and Employer Value Proposition: Empower and drive the company's employer branding activities by developing and implementing strategies that highlight the organization’s strengths and enhance its reputation as an Employer of Choice. Facilitate TOP Employer and Great Place to Work programs.
  • Talent Mastery: Oversee recruitment, development, and retention strategies to ensure the acquisition and growth of top talent within Polish organization.
  • Employee Engagement: Design and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Maintain OHS scores minimum at 80 for Engagement, Innovation and Inclusion, and 85 for Patient Centricity and Ethics.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Requires a minimum of 6 years’ experience in HR Business Partner role in Three-Pillar HR Model, as you will work closely with Polish leadership team on HR strategy for Poland with business needs, focusing on strategic planning and relationship management.
  • Autonomy: Seasoned individual contributor. Works independently under limited supervision to determine and develop approach to solutions.
  • Organizational Impact: May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area. Contributes to the completion of work group objectives, through building relationships and consensus to reach agreements on assignments.
  • Innovation and Complexity: Problems and issues faced are difficult, and may require understanding of multiple issues, job areas or specialties.
  • Communication and Influence: Communicates with senior internal and external customers and vendors. Exchange information of facts, statuses, ideas and issues to achieve objective, and influence decision-making.
