Banking as a Platform (Baa P), a unit within Tietoevry Banking, is responsible for end-to-end solutions related to core banking systems, personal and corporate banking, as well as mobile banking. In Poland, we develop and deliver our products in the Saa S model and currently we are looking for a Line Manager to lead the Baa P Channels organization.

Areas of Responsibility:

Leading the software development team which delivers projects for the Baa P Channels organization

Taking personnel responsibility for approx. 30 software engineers located in Poland (recruitment, performance management, rewards, and support)

Cooperating closely with local and global support functions like HR, Facility, Finance, IT and Legal

Maintaining and improving work processes, contributing to the successful delivery of ongoing projects

Acting as the central communication point for the team between sites and organizations

Must have:

You have at least 3 years of experience leading software development teams of 15+ team members

You are located in Poland and you have the working knowledge of the Polish labor law

You have high analytical skills, present can-do attitude and you are self-reliant

You communicate well on all levels of the organization, which means that you are also a good listener, consider multiple perspectives, and show empathy.

You understand the practical aspects of the software development lifecycle and project management

You understand an Agile way of working, including ceremonies and responsibilities

You are fluent in English (C-level) as we are an international team

Additionally, we also value:

Experience in the Banking/Financial domain

Technical education and previous experience in software engineering roles

Knowledge of the Norwegian language
