We are a next-generation media technology company that provides cloud broadcast and targeted advertising solutions to broadcast TV and streaming TV platforms. Amagi enables content owners to launch, distribute, and monetize live linear channels on Free Ad-supported Streaming TV and video services platforms. Amagi also offers 24x7 cloud-managed services bringing simplicity, advanced automation, and transparency to the entire broadcast operations. Overall, Amagi supports 700+ content brands, 800+ playout chains, and over 2500 channel deliveries on its platform in over 40 countries. Amagi has a presence in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Paris, Melbourne, Seoul, Lodz, Singapore, and broadcast operations in New Delhi, and an innovation center in Bangalore.
Amagi has acquired the business of Tellyo with it's R&D development center in Poland, a leading real-time live cloud remote production, clipping/editing, and social sharing platform. This development is set to enhance Amagi's video toolset for live sports and news broadcasts, and improve live video streaming and editing experience for customers worldwide.
With this agreement, Amagi expands its footprint in Europe, by bringing together Tellyo's product development center in Poland and Amagi's technology centers in India and Croatia, Amagi expects to drive cloud innovation in the region in an accelerated manner.
We are looking for a talented QA Engineer with the ability to be capable of analytical thinking that aligns with business goals and enhance the overall user experience to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting manual and automatic tests
- Designing tests and preparing test scenarios
- Error reporting and preparation of test reports
- Cooperation with the development team
- Preparation of project documentation
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts, developing and maintaining automated test cases to ensure high quality of delivered software
- At least 3 years of commercial experience as QA Engineer (manual and automation tests)
- Proficiency in test automation using Cypress with Type Script/Java Script
- Basic knowledge: ssh/ gitbash/ cmd
- Versioning tool: Git
- Experience with testing tools (Jira, Atlassian)
- Motivated and innovative approach to testing.
- Ability to create effective test cases and execute them
- Passion for solving problems, improving things, and advocating for quality
- Curiosity and strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in English
- Experience with testing video and audio editing will be an advantage
