Senior Backend Spark Developer (hybrid from Warsaw, Poland)

We are looking for experienced team players to fill the Senior Backend Spark Developer position and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the Banking industry located in Warsaw, Poland.

You can expect:
  • Working with a highly skilled team of professionals
  • Developing end-to-end ETL processes with Spark/Scala

Requirements
  • Min. 5 years of experience in relevant position
  • Min. 2 years of experience working with Spark with Scala, software design patterns, and TDD
  • Experience working with big data – Spark, Hadoop and Hive
  • Experience with different database structures
  • Proven experience and expertise across data integration and data management with high data volumes
  • Experiencie working in agile continuous integration with Dev Ops paradigm and a tool set (Git, Git Hub, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, Jira)
  • Basics of Cloud computing (Docker, Kubernetes, OS3, Azure, AWS)
  • Knowledge of Bash, Control-M and security basics
  • Excellent English and Polish skills
