Senior Backend Spark Developer (hybrid from Warsaw, Poland)

We are looking for experienced team players to fill the Senior Backend Spark Developer position and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the Banking industry located in Warsaw, Poland.

You can expect:

Working with a highly skilled team of professionals
Developing end-to-end ETL processes with Spark/Scala

Requirements

Min. 5 years of experience in relevant position
Min. 2 years of experience working with Spark with Scala, software design patterns, and TDD
Experience working with big data – Spark, Hadoop and Hive
Experience with different database structures
Proven experience and expertise across data integration and data management with high data volumes
Experiencie working in agile continuous integration with Dev Ops paradigm and a tool set (Git, Git Hub, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, Jira)
Basics of Cloud computing (Docker, Kubernetes, OS3, Azure, AWS)
Knowledge of Bash, Control-M and security basics
Excellent English and Polish skills
