What You'll Do
A successful Software Engineer will own initiatives that include but are not limited to the below:
- Develop high volume web-based Saa S solutions.
- Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code across all layers of the stack.
- Experienced in an Agile environment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
- Design and implement microservices architectures for scalable and maintainable applications.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Utilize containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) to manage and deploy applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of application development experience in high volume Saa S platforms.
- Proficiency in Object Oriented design and development using core Java 8+ or C#/.NET.
- Experience working with Angular 4+ or React.
- Strong skills in frontend UI, databases, and model layers.
- Experience in an Agile development environment using Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience training and/or mentoring junior engineers.
- Familiarity with cloud services and cloud-based application development.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: Understanding of microservices architectures and behavior driven development (BDD).
