At Beiersdorf IT, we are committed to enabling digital transformation across our organization. Our Application Development team is a trusted partner to all business functions, implementing custom (web) applications that make a difference to how people across Beiersdorf take decisions, access relevant information and pursue their daily work. We are looking for a passionate “UI/ UX Designer” to join the team. Our team consists of highly motivated and experienced application developers from various professional backgrounds spanning open source, Microsoft and SAP technologies. We are part of Beiersdorf’s AI & Automation organization.

As UX/UI Designer on our regional OPEX program, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our data-driven decision-making process. You will work across multiple verticals, including sales, marketing, and finance and for many different markets in
Europe & North America. You will work in a collaborative and innovative environment, providing continuous learning and development opportunities.

As UX/UI Designer on our regional OPEX program, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our data-driven decision-making process. You will work across multiple verticals, including sales, marketing, and finance and for many different markets in
Europe & North America. You will work in a collaborative and innovative environment, providing continuous learning and development opportunities.
YOUR TASKS
- Create initial designs and prototypes in relevant tools i.e. Figma, to interactively review with business stakeholders (HQ and Countries)
- You engage with internal users to design both smooth user experiences and user interfaces that are the face of our digital solutions
- Iteratively refine the designs based on user needs and then hand over detailed design specifications to the IT developers for implementation
- Design a holistic product user experience, while fulfilling business requirements and observing technical constraints
- Develop user interface standards, conceptualize and champion importance of User Centered design
- Ensure detailed designs match high level designs and are traceable to requirements in functional specification
- Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of service
- Comply with sprint backlog in terms of activities prioritization
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Experience in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
- Strong knowledge in design, wire-framing, and prototyping tools
- Either work experience in designing Web Applications and/or experience in designing analytical dashboards
- Intermediate experience with Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Experience in Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, Atlassian or similar
- Good understanding of business KPIs and how they relate
- Proficiency with Power BI is a plus
- Ability to work in a self-organizing environment and eagerness to continuously learn
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Foundation in agile way of working
- Problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking (functional driven design)
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced set-up
- Strong drive and proactive attitude towards achieving results
- Proficiency in English (written & spoken); German is a plus
