We are searching for talented individuals who are eager to contribute to our culinary team and create extraordinary dining experiences.
Your Central Role
As a Cook at Reia Collective Restaurants, your responsibilities will vary based on your position level:
1st Cook:
  • Culinary Leadership: Assist the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Menu Execution: Execute menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and culinary standards established by the Head Chef.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the preparation and plating of dishes to ensure they meet Reia Collective's exacting culinary standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen sanitation to uphold health and safety regulations.
2nd Cook:
  • Station Responsibility: Assume responsibility for a specific kitchen station, preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Collaborative Support: Assist the 1st Cook and kitchen team in various tasks, contributing to a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and consistency of dishes by following proper cooking techniques and presentation guidelines.
  • Ingredient Preparation: Assist in ingredient preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning, to support timely execution of menu items.
3rd Cook:
  • Preparation Support: Assist the kitchen team in preparing ingredients, sauces, and components for menu items under the guidance of the 1st and 2nd Cooks.
  • Cooking Assistance: Support the 1st and 2nd Cooks in cooking and assembling dishes, learning and refining culinary techniques along the way.
  • Kitchen Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Your Exceptional Qualifications
To excel in these roles, you bring:
  • Culinary Experience: Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment is preferred, with specific experience relevant to the position level.
  • Passion for Excellence: A dedication to delivering exceptional food quality and presentation, with a commitment to upholding Reîa Collective's culinary standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen colleagues, demonstrating effective communication and teamwork.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a focus on precision in food preparation and presentation.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Portuguese is preferred; English proficiency is a plus.
