We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Teacher to join our team in August 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the learning journey of young children, fostering their curiosity, creativity, and social skills in a stimulating environment. • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons that stimulate early cognitive, social, and physical development.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where young children feel supported and encouraged.
  • Use creative and interactive teaching methods, including play, stories, songs, and hands-on activities to promote learning.
  • Foster the development of essential skills such as communication, problem-solving, and social interaction.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing individualised feedback to support each child’s growth.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s development and provide advice on supporting learning at home.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on developing cross-curricular activities that integrate learning through play.
  • Participate in school events and extra-curricular programs, helping to build a sense of community among students and families.
  • Ensure that teaching aligns with the values of King’s College, promoting a love of learning and encouraging positive relationships.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification.
  • 3-5 years of experience teaching in an early years setting, ideally in an international or British school.
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and child development principles.
  • A passion for play-based learning and fostering a nurturing, engaging classroom environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • A collaborative approach, working effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
  • Creativity and flexibility in adapting lessons to meet the needs of young learners.
  • A commitment to professional development and staying current with early childhood education best practices.
  • A genuine love for working with young children and a positive, caring attitude.
  • Willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the school community.

King’s College School joins other King’s Group schools in Spain, Panama, Latvia and soon The Bahamas and Egypt. King’s Group schools have provided children with a rigorous and broad British and international education since 1969 with a focus on developing thoughtful and knowledgeable young people. The success of the group comes from recruiting teachers with the skills and experience to turn the curriculum into dynamic lessons that ignite the imagination.
The King’s belief that child-centred, exploratory learning teaches students to think, question and explore new ideas, complements lnspired’s forward-thinking learning approach.
The Inspired learning approach
Our approach is defined by supportive academic excellence and the exploration of life skills to develop students’ self-confidence and self-assurance.
We do this by delivering a focus on the individual and offering a broad curriculum based on the three pillars. Academics are at the centre of our approach but are also complemented equally by Performing Arts and Sport. This rich curriculum ensures that every student can discover their passions and develop their skills. Students are encouraged and supported to excel across all areas, even those they find more difficult.
Our Three Pillar Approach
1. Academics
Central to all our schools, our core of academia teaches our students critical and lateral thinking to inform the understanding and application of a wide variety of disciplines. At King’s College School, we follow the British Curriculum to Year 11 and then the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to Year 13.
2. Sport
Inspired’s sporting pillar stands for health, wellbeing, fun, motivation, self-discipline,
and self-esteem. Whether it’s about involving students in team sports or introducing them to individual pursuits, we aim to provide an athletics programme to suit every student. King’s College School students can get involved in a broad range of sporting pursuits including football, basketball, cricket, swimming, and tennis.
While some students in each school go on to achieve national and international honours, all students benefit from the fitness, enjoyment, and life-long interest that sport can spark. The physical exercise involved also contributes to the mental alertness necessary for successful study.
3. Performing Arts
The arts help to instil confidence and selfassurance within our students to nurture and
develop their interests for life. This confidence is derived from performance, the appreciation of the arts as fundamental to the human experience, and a creative approach to all that our students do.
From drama lessons and public speaking to instrumental music lessons and visual arts, King’s College School students get to experience it all as part of the core curriculum.
Build a career with Inspired Education
Inspired schools remain anchored in the vibrant cultures of their respective locations, and collectively, they form an international community that nurtures each student's academic and personal development in a progressive, dynamic, and innovative learning environment.
Specialist-led, extracurricular activities and exchange programmes are woven into the fabric of Inspired's approach to schooling, resulting in a well-rounded, diverse student population of engaged, active learners who confidently apply their wide-ranging skills within a global context.
Students benefit from a robust, holistic, international curriculum formed around the Inspired three pillars of modern education: academic excellence, sports, and performing & creative arts, with dedicated, highly qualified teachers who demonstrate Inspired's exemplary methodology. In the application of a student-centred teaching model, Inspired schools achieve outstanding examination results and, importantly, nurture happy, multi-skilled individuals who have faith in their abilities. Inspired students are empowered to fulfil their potential and are fully equipped to thrive in a modern world.
