Our client is a reference company and is growing fast in the sector in which it operates. They are reinforcing their team, through us, with the recruitment of a HEAD OF ACCOUNTING (M/F), in the North region - Santo Tirso.
MISSION
Responsible for supervising, monitoring and evaluating the daily activities. Responsibilities include establishing the financial position by developing and implementing systems to collect, analyze, verify and report information.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the monthly closing process;
- Recording accruals and manual entries;
- Creation of assets in SAP;
- Verification of depreciation and recording of salaries.
- Follow-up of accounts payable activities: recording invoices, payments, expense rates, disputes;
- Posting and monitoring of payment campaigns;
- Reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Checking the accuracy of balance sheet and income statement accounts;
- Accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) statements and seniority reports;
- Ensure fiscal compliance;
- Inventories: participate in asset and stock inventories;
- Follow up on grant processes;
- Ensure the 4 eyes principle and correct SOD.
- Provide the consolidation file to the parent company: P&L, BS and FCF;
- Tax compliance, ensure the accuracy of the following statements:
- Periodic VAT return;
-EU sales/services list (VAT recapitulative statement);
-Withholding taxes for self-employed, landlords and others (for residents and non-residents);
-Stamp duty payable declaration;
Declaration of income paid and tax withheld on payments made to non-resident entities (Model 30);
-Monthly invoicing report (SAF-T Invoicing);
-Regular payments on account, special payments on account and additional payments on account for IRC purposes;
- Communication from the Bank of Portugal regarding cross-border transactions and balances (COPE);
-Submission of the Intrastat form, based on the data provided by logistics;
-Corporate Income Tax Return ("Modelo22");
-Annual Tax Return ("IES");
-Collection of data for preparation of the Tax Dossier.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Management or Economics;
- Solid experience in similar functions;
- Experience in the industrial sector will be valued;
- Valid certification of Chartered Accountant;
- SAP user experience - MANDATORY;
- Experience with Business Intelligence (Power BI) tools will be valued;
- Strong logical reasoning and analytical thinking;
- Internal customer orientation;
- Confirmed leadership;
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) - MANDATORY
