Your Role

As an Information Security Engineer (m/f/d) for our Identity and Access Management (IAM) system, you will work with an international product team supporting and enhancing our mission-critical application, connecting Kuehne+Nagel to our customers and external partners worldwide, round the clock, every day of the year.You'll work with systems engineering, application owners, and auditors, helping to create functional, scalable, and secure IAM operations in a diverse and rich technological environment to provide a global IAM for all KN environments.

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in the management of our mission-critical application;
• Perform configuration and administration of integration, test, and production systems;
• Constantly improve and adapt monitoring, logging, and alerting systems;
• Identify, break, and resolve issues with our shared middleware components using structured troubleshooting approaches;
• Analyse complex communication scenarios and provide operations support.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field;
• Knowledge about Information Security;
• Experience in operating Java and RHEL-based applications;
• Expert knowledge of troubleshooting enterprise database systems (Oracle and Postgre SQL preferred);
• Knowledge of scripting in Power Shell, Bash, Python, and Java and usage of Web Services APIs REST and SOAP;(JSON/XML/RPC/HTTP);
• Understanding of configuration change management and project management processes;
• Knowledge or experience in Agile methodology Scrum or Kanban;
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills (log analysis, etc.) and a passion for solving complex technical challenges;
• Strong communication skills, passionate about interacting with people and other teams from around the world;
• Fluency in verbal and written English is required.

Plus

• Knowledge in AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Knowledge of identity and access management capabilities;
• Services: Cloud Access Management, Privileged Identity Access Solutions, Authorization as a Service, Single Sign On;
• Experience in Active Directory and LDAP;
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and CI / CD tools like Ansible and Jenkins.
