We have an opportunity for a Performance Manager to join our Industrial Automation team in Portugal. The Performance Manager is the sole position identified as responsible for specified contract and project(s) and serves as the primary high-level customer interface to ensure problem identification and resolution meets customer expectations.
PERFORMANCE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. PEOPLE
- Provide strategic Leadership to a multi-disciplined team consisting of a Field Service Manager, Service Operations Leader and Project Manager plus Service, Projects & Support specialists dealing with complex technical equipment and a highly sophisticated range of products and services.
2. BUSINESS
- Provide Accurate planning and forecasting of contract performance and partner with Field Service Manager and Project Managers on Orders, Revenue, Profit, Cash and Past Dues.
- Work with the Sales team to drive additional orders and deploy growth initiatives
3. OPERATIONS
- Work with the Field Service Manager, Project Manager & Service Operations Leader to develop and establish an operational plan to provide the path for the operational processes i.e., Applicable CRM and SAP.
- Manage Communication with the Customer in accordance with a contract specific Communications Plan (supported by Stakeholder Analysis and RASCI).
- Support the Service team in resolving incidents and troubleshooting of problems (including an escalation process for the customer). Ensure close out of corrective actions (internal and external) by identifying the root causes and updating procedures to reflect improved ways of working
- Review performance metrics including customer satisfaction metrics and plan corrective actions accordingly.
- Manage project or contract changes in accordance with Customer’s change management process including operational risk & benefit assessment.
- Ensure Contract documentation is updated.
- Support the Field Service Manager, Project Manager & Service Operations Leader in developing and communicating training needs that would improve system performance or reliability (including Training Needs Analysis, Training Plan and Competency Matrix for Honeywell & Customer team members).
4. SAFETY
- Ensure compliance with a contract specific HSE Plan and ensure that all required safety standards are understood and measured for full Honeywell compliance throughout the service business.
- A Degree in engineering or relevant job experience in Industrial Environment.
- Demonstrated technical background and leadership abilities. (Conceptualize, develop, and execute)
- Finance – strong understanding of Profit & Loss statements.
- Experience in Service and Project Management methodologies.
- Knowledge of appropriate Business, Engineering, Field and Supply Chain principles.
- Excellent Communication skills – oral, written and presentation. (Local + English)
- Negotiation and conflict management skills.
