Description:
We are looking for a dynamic Asset Management Leader to join our team for a major 5-year consulting program with a public sector organization dedicated to the operation and maintenance of roads and drainage assets. The Asset Management Leader will report directly to the Program Director and will be responsible for leading a combined consulting and client team on transformational asset management projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• \t Leadership & Team Management

• \t Lead and motivate a cross-functional team of consultants and client staff focused on asset management initiatives.

• \t Foster collaboration and ensure effective communication between team members and stakeholders.

• \t Project Development & Execution

• \t Design and implement asset management strategies that enhance the performance and sustainability of roads and drainage assets.

• \t Oversee the execution of transformational projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.

• \t Monitor project progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

• \t Stakeholder Engagement

• \t Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to identify asset management needs and opportunities for improvement.

• \t Prepare and present project updates, reports, and recommendations to the Program Director and client executives.

• \t Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• \t Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in asset management.

• \t Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance the capabilities of the client team in asset management practices.

Qualifications:
Experience

• \t Minimum of 15 years of experience in asset management, preferably within the roads or drainage sectors.

• \t Proven experience leading transformational projects and managing cross-functional teams.

Education

• \t Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in the USA, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Skills

• \t Strong leadership and team-building skills.

• \t Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• \t Proficient in asset management principles and practices.

• \t Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Language Skills

• \t Arabic language skills are preferred but not essential.
