About the Role
As business development and operations manager your main task will be to promote our services in a personal and professional manner, whilst supporting the operations team in delivering on the requirements of our clients.
You daily tasks will involve:
Familiarising yourself with our current accounts, contacting them to develop our relationship, understand their needs and see how we can further support their business needs.
Maintain existing customer relations as well as expand our customer base with new ones, whilst always keeping our customer portfolio up to date through our digital CRM system.
Visit potential clients to understand their needs, following this you will need to work with the operations team to develop a solution for the clients’ requirements.
Account management – ensuring invoices are sent to clients on time and completed accurately, following up with invoices and late payments.
Your sales activities will be divided between primarily outside sales (i.e. customer visits) and inside sales (i.e. by phone – both warm & cold).
Develop a portfolio for the company that can be presented and adapted as necessary to present to potential clients.
Preparing client quotations within the freight management software.
Work on existing and developing relationships with the wider international freight network, air/shipping lines, customs and clearance agents, both here in Qatar and the rest of the world.
Necessary Experience

• Minimum experience of 5 year within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
• Knowledge and experience of maintaining and managing a CRM system.
• Experience in freight forwarding management software.
• Ability to approach businesses face to face and present the company in a professional and modern way.
• Strong English language skills, both written and oral with a professional tone.

Necessary Requirements

• Must have a valid Qatari driver’s license and own vehicle.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
