Draftsman & GIS Specialist
Skills Required:

• Fully experienced with preparation and review of GIS data in (esri Arc GIS Software) along with asset tags as per specs and standards of ASHGHAL/Client projects.
• Preparation all (Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical) work of road equipment installation/constructions and with accordance to ASHGHAL Auto CAD specs and standards, Professional certification will be preferred.
• Proficient in using CAD and Auto CAD software, Knowledge of 3D and 2D modeling tools.
• Capability to provide practical training to other colleagues to transfer the knowledge of GIS data preparation and software tool experience to all the existing team.
• Having a minimum experience of (5+) years in similar field, and capability of time management to meet the work tasks timeline and deadlines.
• Full Knowledge of 3D and 2D modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of any drawings type for (electrical, mechanical & civil) equipment & capability to modify/update all related drawings.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent in oral and written communication skills.

Brief Job Description:

• Create and/or update of (design, engineering, and construction/installation) drawings and/or documents for all ( ITS, TS, and FW) projects as per ASHGHAL/Client specs and standards.
• Create and/or update GIS data and asset tags for all (ITS, TS, and FW) projects as per ASHGHAL/client specs and standards.
• Assist the team in checking, review and reply to CAD/GIS comments provided by ASHGHAL/client and rectify/update the drawings/documents with accordance to latest released ASHGHAL/client specs and standards.
• Provide a technical training to existing draftsman team on GIS data preparation and GIS software tool (esri Arc GIS), and support on exchanging the knowledge and experience between the entire team members.
• Develop and provide all drawings/sketches as per ASHGHAL/client standard and specifications, and comply with clients’ comments requirements.
• Convert sketches and/or drawings received from ASHGHAL/client and from projects engineers into required technical drawings such as (design, engineering, and as-built) for all (ITS, TS, and FW) projects with accordance to scope of work and ASGHAL/client specifications, and prepare all related technical drawings/documents as per SHGHAL/client standards.
• Provides regular status report, progress updates, and estimated time frame to complete assigned tasks.
• Perform drawings updates and rectifications based on scope of work requirement, engineers assessments, and client specifications and standards.
• Prepare/Create/Modify all requested (Civil, Electrical, and mechanical) drawings/documents as requested by client and or engineers in a timely manner and with quality assurance and compliance with ASHGHAL/client specifications along with technical/contractual standards.
• Work from site and from main office (as necessary) to prepare all required Auto CAD work based on work/projects requirement.
