ELV -AV ENGINEER

Site supervision of field devices installation for Access/Intrusion Control, AFC, CCTV, Dynamic Signage, IP
Telephony, LAN equipment, Linear Heat Detection Cables, Passenger Entertainment/Information, Public Address,
Radio Networks and Wi-Fi systems.
Interface coordination with civil contractors to ensure MEP/spatial requirements for Telecom Server Rooms and
architectural integration of field devices through ICDs and coordination meetings.
Validation of PA intelligibility, TETRA coverage and Wi-Fi signal strengths within public and technical areas.
Testing of onboard, wayside PIS/PAS and verification of STC integration for train timetables.
Verification of Telecom systems functionalities via the SCADA HMI such as Access Control Doors, PIS/PAS, CCTV
and Emergency Calls.
Ensuring compliance with requirements set by key stakeholders such as Qatar Civil Defence, MOI - Security Systems
and MOI - Telecom departments for Access Control, CCTV, Dynamic Signage, Emergency Call Devices, Public
Address and Police Radio Networks.
Facilitating systems integration (PIDS, PAS, SCADA and ACS) with Lusail Tram at interchange station.
Liaising with Telecom Service Providers (Ooredoo and Vodafone) and retail vendors for integration with metro
networks via data outlets, fiber connectivity and telecom rack space allocation in IT Rooms.
Snagging of the Contractor's installations in stations, structures and tunnels in line with international and local
standards such as NFPA, QCS, Kahramaa and EIA/TIA.
Review of Contractor’s handover documentation (Installation Release Notices, Payment Events and As Built
Drawings).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to QAR12,000.00 per month
