SHIPPING
Primary purpose of job
Coordinate the activities of the assigned Fleet Group to ensure the Qatar Energy chartered LNG fleet provides safe, reliable
and efficient transportation of LNG.

• Knowledgeable in LNG marine loading utilities, facilities and berth requirements.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of SHE standards and requirements as they relate to the oil/gas/shipping

industries and the marine environment.

• Good insight of LNG Time Charter Party requirements and obligations of both Charterer and Owners.

Technical and Business Skills

• Ability to analyse and identify vessel performance related problems on assigned LNG vessels.
• Proficient written and spoken English with good skills in technical report writing.
• Inter-cultural skills with understanding of the business practices and protocols of different cultures.

Education

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Marine/Shipping or STWC equivalent (e.g. Chief Engineer, Master)
