· Adopt measures to ensure compliance to HSE requirements as per the contract and avoids penalties due to noncompliance in the projects assigned
· Ensures that no man days are lost due to HSE issues
· Work with the Insurance Companies in investigations, reporting & processing claims
· Conduct weekly meeting to make site staff aware of all safety aspects
· Coordinate with client’s representatives to ensure smooth and accurate flow of work
· Attend HSE related project meetings with sub-contractors, clients, project execution team and management
· Maintain and apply knowledge of current HSE policies, regulations and industrial best practices
· Conduct tool box meetings and educate the workers regarding safety standards, hazards and measures to be taken for prevention
· Conduct periodical Trainings (Fall Protection, Fire Fighting, Chemical Handling, Electrical Equipment handling, working at heights etc.)
· Attend training programs and updates own technical knowledge and learn different trades of profession related to Dico Tech scope of works
· Enhance knowledge on topics related to individual work area as well as on company’s business area by self-learning.
· Prepare case study on lessons learnt for Organization Knowledge database
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree, Diploma in HSE/Safety, OSHA & NEBOSH certificate preferred
Work Experience
2 to 7 Years as site safety supervisor with Minimum 2 -3 years in Oil and Gas Industry is a MUST
Technical skills
Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures related to HSE for construction works, Knowledge of Labour Laws and HSE Standards, Computer skills
Language skills
Good in oral and written English

Supervisory skills, planning and organizing skills, customer handling
