Junior Sales Associate - Building Materials (Stones)

We are seeking a Junior Sales Associate with experience in building materials, particularly in the stone industry, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local market in Qatar and possess the necessary skills to drive sales and build lasting relationships with clients. This role requires a motivated, organized, and self-driven individual who is passionate about sales and has a proven track record in the building materials sector.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the building materials industry, with a focus on stone products.
  • Sales Generation: Achieve sales targets by actively seeking out and engaging with potential clients, presenting company products, and offering tailored solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of stone materials, including types, uses, and specifications. Provide clients with expert advice on stone products and applications.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands in Qatar to identify sales opportunities.
  • Quotations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals based on client needs and product availability.
  • Customer Support: Address client inquiries and provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress toward targets.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales within the building materials sector, preferably with a focus on stone products.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience working in a stone company or a deep understanding of stone materials (e.g., marble, granite) is highly preferred.
  • Language: Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Transportation: Must own a car and have a valid driver’s license to facilitate client visits and on-site meetings.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while meeting sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the Qatar market and its specific needs in the construction and building materials sectors.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales and maintain long-term customer relationships.
