Roles and Responsibilities
· Lead and coordinate the structural design and analysis of projects
· Oversee the preparation and review of structural calculations, drawings, and specifications
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters
· Diversified experience in multi-disciplinary projects, High rise, commercial, hotels, hospitality, shopping Centers with big engineering consultancy firms
· Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to develop project requirements and design solutions
· Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and compliance with codes and standards
· Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
· Ensure that all designs and construction documents comply with applicable codes and regulations
· Review and respond to RFIs and change orders during construction phase
· Extensive experience with structural /civil analysis software, including RISA-3D, STAAD Pro and ETABS etc. and general business software
· UPDA / MMUP Grade A is mandatory.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelor's or master's degree in Structural Engineering or a similar field
· Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design engineering
· Extensive knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations
· Experience with structural analysis and design software
· Strong project management and leadership skills
· Strong project management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
· MMUP Grade A is a must
· Prefer resident in Qatar with NOC
