Looking for a part time designer to work on an emerging fashion brand.

• Collaborate with the creative team to research and develop seasonal collections.
• Sketch preliminary design ideas and create detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Select fabrics, embellishments, colors, and styles for each garment or accessory.
• Work with fabric suppliers to source the highest quality materials within budget constraints.
• Adjust designs for production feasibility and liaise with production teams to oversee the creation of prototypes.
• Attend fittings and adjust the designs based on feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest fashion trends and techniques to apply them within the brand’s aesthetic.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a fashion designer with a strong portfolio of previous work.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and fashion trends.
• Excellent drawing skills and the ability to visualize designs in three dimensions.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
