Job Summary:
The Plumbing Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the installation, repair, maintenance, and inspection of plumbing systems. You will manage a team of plumbing technicians, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining high operational standards and ensuring the longevity of our plumbing systems.
Job Responsibilities:
· Oversee plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
· Inspect work sites and completed projects to ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
· Ensure proper installation and operation of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems.
· Review blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to ensure accurate and efficient execution of plumbing work.
· Provide expert guidance and support on complex plumbing issues, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
· Work in hand to lead, mentor, and supervise a team of plumbers, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to company standards.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
· Communicate effectively with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide professional recommendations and solutions.
· Prepare and review project estimates, proposals, and invoices, providing clear and accurate information to clients.
· Maintain accurate records of work performed, including job logs, inventory, and equipment usage.
· Prepare and submit reports on project progress, team performance, and other relevant metrics.
· Manage inventory and order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Plumbing Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, or in a similar role.
· In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, maintenance procedures, and relevant codes and regulations.
· Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical abilities, strong organizational and communication skills.
· Technical diploma or equivalent; vocational training or an associate degree in plumbing or a related field is a plus.
· Qatar Driving License is a must.
