Rota International is seeking enthusiastic and safety-conscious Ride Operators to join our team for an upcoming event in Doha, Qatar. As a Ride Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of rides and attractions, ensuring an exciting and enjoyable experience for all guests. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in event staffing or customer service who are looking to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate rides and attractions, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
- Assist guests with boarding and disembarking from rides while maintaining excellent guest relations.
- Monitor ride operations, responding quickly to any malfunctions and reporting issues immediately.
- Enforce all ride safety rules and regulations to ensure the safety of guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and assisting guests with any ride-related concerns.
- Conduct pre-ride safety checks and post-ride maintenance reports.
- Manage ride queues, ensuring that guests are guided efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in and around the ride areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Respond to emergency situations according to safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role (preferably as a ride operator, in the hospitality or entertainment industry).
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and ability to operate rides safely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
