Sales Executive - Outdoor

JOB SUMMARY / JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS PERFORMED / PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
A. Understand Existing Markets
· Identify needs and requirements of customer segments
· Analyze accounts under each segment
· Identify opportunities to across sell other products to similar customers and increase share of business
· Identify profitable customers in each segment
· Contact prospective customers through market research
B. Manage order servicing and execution
· Ensure quotations are submitted within specified time period to prospective clients
· Attach supporting documents wherever required
· Follow-up with customers for all customer inquiries generated
· Negotiate term and conditions of the orders
· Communicate the likely delivery date to the customer
· Inform the support department about order confirmation
· Ensure that all relevant documents are sent with the delivery (Invoices & Delivery Order)
· Ensure receipt of Local Purchase Order from customers
· Ensure that ‘Application for Credit Account’ is filled by all new customers who want to buy on credit
· Communicate all confirmed orders to the Logistics executive and Account department
· Review progress of the delivery
C. Oversee client relationships
· Review the progress with different customers
· Ask for regular feedback from customers
· Track problem areas and complaints from customers
· Ensure communication of the same to the Head of Sales
· Ensure follow up and correction of the problem areas
· Identify short and medium term requirements through regular interaction with customers
D. Manage Collections
· Keep tract of outstanding amount of each customer
· Follow-up with customers for payments
· Ensure receipt of payments from customers
· Forward the same to the accounts department
E. Manage & Process Claims
· Study and understand customer complaints
· Ascertain where the complaint is due to manufacturing defect
· Pass on the claim benefit, if required
· Inform the logistics and accounts department about claims (sales return)
· Highlight issues about such claims during weekly meetings
F. Any other job that Top Management deems fit for this position
· Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Marketing, Sales Management or any similar field
Minimum Experience: Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Automotive, Tools and Equipment or any other industrial goods related to the organization
Competencies: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Personal Traits

- With valid driving license in Qatar
- Knowledge of selling, sales promotion techniques
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Conversant with product and services selling
- Understanding of market demand dynamics
- Ability to understand and resolve customer issues
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience:
- Sales: 3 years (Required)
